Alucobond is a material made of aluminum panels used for facing buildings and structures. The panels consist of pre-painted 0.5 mm thick aluminum sheets, the middle layer of which is polymeric. These materials, integrated into one, become ready-made panels. The internal polymer coating provides a sufficiently effective water exchange, balancing the temperature between the outer and inner layers. Otherwise, under the influence of direct sun rays, the panels would have deformed. Aluminum composite panels, due to their properties, can serve as both a finishing material and a building material.
The main advantages of alucobond are flexibility, strength, non-corrosion, light weight, fire resistance, unlimited choice of colors, long-term paint stability.
